A decade after the Eigner I house, Günther Domenig was again working for the Eigner family in Neunkirchen. This time, however, it was for the adaptation and interior design of an existing 1960s residential house. And in this project, too, there was a parallel construction development, namely the Z‑Sparkasse in Vienna, which was influential for the appearance of Haus Eigner, and even more so Domenig’s refocusing towards organic forms in architecture, where dynamics and the flowing together of spaces are central motifs.
