In the design for the Gründer‑, Innovations- und Gewerbezentrum in Völkermarkt, Günther Domenig created a contrast between the flat, spreading production halls and a steeply towering wing that floats above the landscape, a beacon that can be seen from far away. It evolves from heavy concrete elements through to a light steel construction. The motif

of the wing and the cantilever appear time and again in Domenig’s work and here they ensure recognisability.
