The conversion of the Rikki Reiner boutique was a project close to Domenig’s heart and is in many ways a good example of his approach to listed buildings. The original plan was to break up the façade while opening it up towards the street. Domenig’s design is based on the same principles as his “Humanic” projects: starting with the exterior space, a flowing spatial structure unfolds inwards through the historic and listed building fabric. The staircase, the floating table and the changing rooms form a unified design, while on the façade it is only the movable metal sunshades and a passage with four marble columns that indicate Domenig’s architectural intervention
